Astrid Lyons

A Louisiana native, I moved to Atlanta in the mid-eighties. I graduated from UGA in 1994 with a BFA in Graphic Design and have been doing print design work — both solo and for various agencies and companies — ever since.

 

With over 25 years working in print, I have extensive experience with all types of format and production, from business cards and brochures to signage and storefront displays. I have long-standing relationships with multiple area offset, digital, and large-format printers, as well as considerable prepress knowledge to prepare jobs for production.

 

As a freelance designer since 2000, I have an extensive network of partners, including marketing specialists, copywriters, illustrators, photographers, and web designers, with all of whom I have personal working relationships. I can create independently from concept to execution, but I also enjoy the opportunity to work side by side with in-house marketing teams. 

 

I am responsive, responsible, and disciplined, with strong capabilities in conceptualization, project management, creative direction, and copy editing. While thoroughly self-sufficient, I love working with a team and being a part of a large creative process.
